From Concept to Prototype

July 2026 • Terra Vertex Journal

The concept stage

A concept is not a product. It is only the first useful shape of an idea. At Terra Vertex, concepts are evaluated by whether they solve a real problem and whether they can become physically believable.

Visual direction matters, but function has to survive beyond the render.

The prototype stage

Prototype work reveals what drawings cannot: fit, tolerances, material feel, assembly issues, durability and user behavior.

This is where many ideas either become stronger or disappear.

Testing before confidence

No product should be treated as ready before testing. Ghost Seat needs material and comfort testing. RGB Controller needs power, firmware and vehicle testing.

The goal is not to rush. The goal is to build something that can survive real use.

Why documentation matters

The Journal exists to document this process. It gives context to the products and helps visitors understand that the work is not just visual. It is development.
